Scheduling Coordinator Overview:

The Home Care Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and monitoring client schedules and ensuring consistency of service delivery. The Home Care Scheduling Coordinator works directly with the clients, family members, and the caregivers (HHAs/PCAs/CNAs) to coordinate care and service needs. Home Care Scheduling Coordinators work closely with our Intake and Recruitment divisions to communicate staffing needs and trends while working collaboratively as a team.



Requirements:

  • Staff personnel according to home care patient's schedules
  • Collaborate with recruiting department regarding hiring HHAs/PCAs/CNAs from difficult to serve geographical areas
  • Document and report to Supervisor when there is a change in client status, change in service requirement, change in aide assigned to case, incidents, and complaints.
  • Partner with recruiter and intake coordinators to ensure immediate and effective care coverage.
  • Communicate all relevant information to nurses and homecare clients.
  • Follow up with clients and families regarding schedule changes, service issues, etc.
  • On-Call duties required.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in a fast-paced home care or medical office setting.
  • Experience with managing a high volume of schedules/Scheduling appointments.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail with problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service background.
  • Proficient computer skills.
