Summary of the position:

The WIC Peer Counselor is a paraprofessional who provides basic breastfeeding information and encouragement to WIC pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with weekends and most major holidays off. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and paid time off! Apply today to join our great team!



Responsibilities

Requirements of the position:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Successfully breastfed at least one baby
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
