Job Overview
Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inpatient care, with experience in various areas of mental health. This role involves diagnosing and treating patients with mental health disorders, providing psychotherapy, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. The Psychiatrist will work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to assess patients' mental health needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include psychotherapy and medication management.
• Provide outpatient and inpatient care, ensuring continuity of treatment for all patients.
• Offer addiction counseling and support for patients struggling with substance use disorders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and share insights on treatment progress.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in psychopharmacology and behavioral health practices.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Psychiatry or board certification within 3 years of onboarding.
• New Jersey Medical Licensure (unrestricted)
• Experience in psychotherapy, particularly in inpatient settings.
• Familiarity with inpatient psychiatric care is a plus.
• Forensic experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to providing compassionate care while adhering to ethical guidelines in psychiatry.

Pay: $200.00 - $230.00 per hour
