About Us:


We are a well-established private forensic psychiatric practice in Manhattan specializing in

forensic evaluations and expert testimony in both civil and criminal cases at the state and

federal levels. Our practice offers a collaborative environment with a team of dedicated

professionals focused on providing thorough, evidence-based evaluations and concise, expert

reports for the Court.


We are seeking a forensic psychologist with demonstrated professional experience in forensic psychology. This role will involve conducting comprehensive forensic psychological evaluations and preparing clear, articulate, written reports for submission to the Court. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and knowledgeable in forensic psychology principles, including relevant legal and ethical standards.


Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct forensic psychological evaluations, including neuropsychological assessments

when appropriate, for civil and criminal cases in state and federal Courts.

• Analyze, interpret, and integrate data from psychological testing, clinical interviews,

and case records.

• Prepare high-quality written reports, outlining findings and professional opinions in

clear, Court-ready language.

• Collaborate with attorneys and other professionals to provide expert consultation and

testimony as needed.

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with ethical guidelines and legal requirements in

forensic practice.


Qualifications:

• Doctoral Degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.

• Current New York State Licensure as a Psychologist.

• Prior experience conducting forensic psychological evaluations.

• Strong writing skills with a proven ability to produce thorough and precise forensic

reports.

• Robust diagnostic skills with particular attention to issues related to forming opinions

about psycholegal questions.

• Familiarity with state and federal court procedures, forensic psychological, and

neuropsychological assessment tools.

• Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, with flexibility in a hybrid in-

person and remote setting.


Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive compensation based on experience and level of expertise. Range:

$100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
