About Job

We are seeking a Professional Rater I to join the Anokhin Lab team, assisting with our Concussion and Brain Development study. The overall goal of the study is to identify long-term neurobehavioral consequences of childhood mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) for the developing brain and examine their contribution to addiction risk using a cotwin-control design, longitudinal follow-up, neuroimaging tools (fMRI and EEG), and neurobehavioral assessments. We will invite two adolescent twins (13-17) and one parent to be a part of our study. Communication and interpersonal skills are highly required for this position. You can expect to participate in research study activities, phone screens, obtain consents, enroll participants in the study, and perform a variety of duties involved in the collection, documentation, and reporting of research data. Working hours are flexible. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Recruits, interviews, screens and schedules subjects for study per protocol. Administers/scores standard tests, dependent on study. Refers patients to resources available in community and social services. Maintains proper documentation and record keeping. Monitors and orders supplies necessary for study. Delivers study samples to lab for testing. Prepares information packets for patients enrolled in study. May receive training from Professional Rater II, Professional Rater III or others based on organizational structure. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education. Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire date. Basic Life Support certification (Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirements). Some evening and weekend availability will be required. No specific work experience is required for this position. Preferred Qualifications: Administrative Or Research (2 Years) experience preferred. A driver's license is not required for this position.
