About Us:
Myrtle Ridge Primary Care is a well-respected healthcare provider serving the Lutz, Florida community, offering both primary care and behavioral health services. We are dedicated to supporting families through comprehensive, compassionate care. We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist with expertise in child psychological evaluations to join our team on a part-time basis.

Position Overview:
The psychologist will primarily focus on conducting psychological assessments for children and adolescents to assist in diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, and academic or behavioral concerns.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations for children and adolescents (ages 5 and older).
  • Administer, score, and interpret standardized psychological, cognitive, and behavioral assessments.
  • Provide written diagnostic reports with clear recommendations for schools, parents, and healthcare providers.
  • Communicate results to families and collaborate with referring providers.
  • Ensure documentation meets Florida legal and ethical guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited program.
  • Active, unrestricted Florida Psychologist License.
  • Demonstrated experience in child and adolescent psychological assessments.
  • Knowledge of developmental, behavioral, and learning disorders common in pediatric populations.
  • Professional liability insurance as required by Florida law.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in primary care or multidisciplinary settings.
  • Familiarity with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, anxiety, learning disabilities, and mood disorders.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Compensation:

  • Competitive per-evaluation compensation, commensurate with experience and type of assessment.
  • Payment $200 per evaluation, depending on complexity and time involved.

Schedule:

  • Flexible part-time hours based on clinician availability and patient demand.
  • Opportunities for in-person.
