Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in LGBTQ advocacy and be committed to providing high-quality open minded mental health services. This role involves working with individuals and families in various settings, addressing their emotional, social, and behavioral needs. The LCSW will play a crucial role in crisis intervention, case management, and supporting clients, partners and families through challenging life situations.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients in acute distress or emergencies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients, including child welfare and addiction counseling as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes.
  • Advocate for clients’ needs within the community and connect them with necessary resources.
  • Stay informed about current trends in behavioral health, ever changing legal landscape and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Experience in any of the following is a plus: crisis management, infertility and post-partum, narcissistic abuse recovery and domestic violence, specialty in children under 10.
  • Strong skills in behavioral health assessment and intervention techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of community resources and services relevant to client needs.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
