A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2024-25 school year, providing services to two schools covering all K-12 grade levels. This role is ideal for professionals who have expertise in behavioral support and are eager to support diverse student populations within a dynamic educational environment. The position requires onsite presence to engage directly with students, staff, and families; hybrid arrangements may be considered, but fully virtual work is not available.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certified School Psychologist in Maryland (out-of-state certification and new graduates are encouraged to apply)
  • Experience with K-12 student populations
  • Behavioral experience is highly valued
  • Ability to work onsite within the school setting
  • Strong interpersonal and assessment skills

Location & Schedule:

  • Position is based in the Bowie, MD area with opportunities to serve surrounding regions near Prince Frederick, MD (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes from Baltimore and 45-50 minutes from Washington, D.C.)
  • Full-time, 35 hours per week
  • Contract duration covers the full 2024-25 school year

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students across all grade levels
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
  • Provide consultation and support for behavioral and mental health concerns
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to academic and social-emotional interventions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district regulations
