Georiga Treatment Services is seeking a full-time Substance Abuse Counselor for an outpatient treatment program providing medication assisted treatment. This position requires counselor to provide individual counseling to patients, function as a liaison with other community-based agencies and law enforcement agencies to maintain continuity of care, complete thorough individual chemical dependency assessment of new patients, maintain current individual treatment plans that address the needs of patients, ensure continued compliance with all State and Federal regulations and company policies and procedures, contribute to the ongoing assessment and treatment planning process through participation in daily reports, case reviews, and treatment teams, provide patient education relating to the illness of chemical dependency and the process of recovery, provide supportive counseling or crisis intervention services in conjunction with medical and nursing service, as circumstances deem necessary, provide education and public information services to the general public and the professional community regarding opioid treatment programs. This position does include case management duties as well.

CADC-I, CADC-II, CAT . At minimum, required. Master's degree in Human Services or related degree is preferred.
