Achieve Pediatric Therapy has been serving children and families in central Florida since 2007, focusing on empowering children and enhancing lives through compassionate and individualized care. We offer a collaborative approach to therapy, providing a variety of resources for children of all ages and their families. Our multi-disciplinary services include occupational therapy (OT), physical therapy (PT), speech therapy (ST), behavior therapy (ABA), and music therapy (MT), in partnership with Florida Speech. Our primary focus is on family-centered interventions that enhance motor skills, behavior, and development.


Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Board Certified Music Therapist, with the opportunity to grow to full time hours, if desired. The Music Therapist will provide individualized music therapy sessions to children, using music to address physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs. Daily tasks include developing treatment plans, conducting assessments, implementing therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team to support the development and well-being of each child.


Qualifications

  • Skills in Music Therapy and Music
  • Experience in Treatment and Mental Health
  • Ability to work with children with Autism and Developmental Disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Certified by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy or related field
  • Experience in pediatric settings is a plus
