Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and experience in providing therapeutic services to diverse populations, including children, families, and geriatrics. This role involves conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing supervision to junior staff. The Psychologist will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality mental health care and contributing to ongoing research initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for patients with various mental health conditions, including PTSD.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical best practices.
• Provide therapy and counseling services to children, families, and geriatric patients.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and best practices in psychological care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within hospital settings to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in research activities aimed at improving therapeutic techniques and understanding of psychological disorders.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure to practice psychology.
• Experience in PTSD care, child family counseling, geriatrics, and behavioral health is preferred.
• Strong skills in diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning.
• Ability to supervise and guide junior staff effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Previous experience working in a hospital setting is a plus.
