Receptionist (Part-time) - Psychology
Salary: $18.00per hour
Location: Psychology
Position Status: Part-time (20 hours per week)
Hours: Monday through Friday 3:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. (The Clinic is open Monday through Thursday until 8:00 p.m. and Fridayuntil 4:00 p.m.)

POSITION SUMMARY:
This is the part-time eveningreceptionist position for the Rita McGinley Psychology Clinic.
DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:
Acts as desk clerk or receptionist; answers inquiriesor refers them to appropriate Clinic personnel. Takes and distributes messages as necessary.
Receives clients' payments, prints receipts.
Supplies routine information regarding the Clinic'sservices and fee scales to potential clients.
Assists in preparation of daily log sheets and settingup receipts.
Operates copy machine and fax machine.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Covers the office in the absence of the AdministrativeAssistant.
Assists with administrative aspects of after-hoursClinical emergencies.
Assists the Clinic Director with compiling Clinic andprogram data.
Completes otherduties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualifications:
Associates Degreefrom an accredited institution.
Experience with Microsoft Word and Exceland of modern office equipment.
Preferredqualifications:
Alternately, the successful candidate may possess any equivalent combination ofexperience and training, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilitiesrequired to perform the essential job functions. This includes, but is notlimited to, the following:
Knowledge of Microsoft Wordand Excel and of modern office equipment
Ability to maintain complexclerical records and prepare reports from such records
Operate a multi-linetelephone system
Make decisions in accordancewith regulations and established policies and procedures
Maintain high standard of confidentiality
Establish and maintaingood relations with students, staff, and the general public
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with theUniversity Community.
Ability and willingness to contribute actively to the mission of the Universityand to respect the Spiritan Catholic identity of Duquesne University.
