About Job

Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) and Indiana University Health (IU Health) are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Faculty Adult Psychologist to join our growing team in Indianapolis.  In this role, you will provide high-quality psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for adult patients.  You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support patients' mental health and well-being, contributing to our commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning.
  • Provide individual and group therapy to adult patients using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
  • Collaborate with medical and behavioral health professionals to create integrated care plans
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes
  • Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research activities as applicable

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a psychologist in the state of Indiana
  • HSPP Required
  • Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and therapeutic techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice
