About Job

Job Summary

Are you seeking a dynamic and supportive professional environment in a private practice-like setting to supervise Post-Doctoral Associates and also see clients? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor/Licensed Psychologist to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral health services.

Hillcrest Psychological Associates is excited to invite licensed psychologists who would also like to supervise to join our team as an employee at our Hillcrest or La Jolla locations on a part-time or full-time basis (see 10-25+clients/week). Opportunities to supervise 1-3 post-doctoral associates. Experience the benefits of being on the supervisory team and part of a professional community of highly skilled clinicians.

Hillcrest Psychological Associates offers a unique environment compared to remote telehealth positions. Enjoy beautifully furnished office spaces at two prime locations, manage low-to-moderate acuity clients (primarily ages 18-45), and have full control over your caseload. We provide clinical, diversity, and EMDR consultation groups, vacation on-call assistance, social events, complimentary office snacks, and more. We handle the administrative tasks—such as claims submissions, insurance paneling, and billing—so you can focus on your supervisees and clients. Additionally, there are opportunities for free continuing education credits, professional growth, EMDR training, and learning within the business.

At Hillcrest Psychological Associates, we are committed to excellence in therapeutic intervention for clients across the San Diego region. Our highly trained clinicians provide a range of culturally-informed therapy services addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, grief, and more. We specialize in serving the LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and college/graduate student communities. Our therapists, coming from diverse backgrounds, employ a variety of evidence-based practices including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapies, and EMDR.

Our mission emphasizes equity and equality, and we are dedicated to anti-racist and anti-discriminatory practices.

Join us in making a difference in the lives of those we serve by providing compassionate care through effective clinical leadership!
