Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and support Behavior Support Programs (BSPs) for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Assist in completing functional assessments and other behavioral evaluations under BCBA supervision.
- Deliver direct behavioral supports and coaching to individuals and staff as needed.
- Train and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on behavioral strategies and program implementation.
- Monitor BSP implementation and document behavioral data accurately and consistently.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including BCBAs, QIDPs, nurses, guardians, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in intake, transition, and emergency support planning as assigned.
- Assist in developing written documentation and progress reports in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services-related field (required).
- Minimum of one year of directly related experience in behavioral or therapeutic support roles.
- At least 1,500 hours of coursework, training, and/or supervised professional experience in applied behavior analysis or behavior-based therapy models.
- Valid driver’s license; regional travel required.
- Ability to complete and maintain certification in CPR, First Aid, and Safety Care within designated timeframes.
Skills and Knowledge:
· Possess strong interpersonal skills for interactions with supervisors, coworkers, individuals, and outside personnel.
