Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Residents in Counseling-LPC/LCSW's to join our team. The Resident/Supervisee will provide outpatient counseling services to clients with diverse backgrounds and presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couple, and/or family therapy using evidence-based interventions
• Conduct initial assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and maintain timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and professional standards
• Collaborate with the clinical team, supervisors, and administrative staff to ensure quality care
• Attend supervision and professional development opportunities as required
• Maintain appropriate boundaries and uphold the ethical standards of practice
• Utilize the practice’s electronic health record (EHR) for all documentation and billing
• Deliver services via telehealth

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or a related field
• Active Resident in Counseling status with the Virginia Board of Counseling
• Professional liability insurance (minimum $1M/$3M coverage)
• Reliable transportation for in-office sessions, if applicable
• Experience with or openness to working with diverse populations
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to ethical practice, personal growth, and ongoing learning
