Shift Details: FT – 40hours/week, weekends & on-call as needed

Compensation: $46,000-$50,000 annual salary

About the job:

The YCC will oversee implementation of milieu interventions, case management, medical appointments, and discharge preparation and execution for clients. Additional functions include, but are not necessarily limited to, intervention data tracking, family and outside provider customer service and floor coverage.

Essentials:

  • Intake coordination
    • Collaborate with OSS on oncoming youth.
    • Participate in intake meetings.
    • Facilitates possession inventory and introducing youth to floor.
  • Milieu intervention specialist
    • Develop and implement milieu interventions with collaboration from program manager and clinical supervisor.
    • Track and manage data pertaining to milieu interventions.
    • Lead team coring.
    • Complete milieu therapy section of treatment plans.
    • Input data into treatment plan as assigned.
  • Point of contact for county and school providers:
    • QRTP- Facilitate QRTP assessment with county.
    • Maintain communication and rapport with county workers on cases.
    • Help coordinate county referrals.
    • Help coordinator court attendance for youth.
    • Provide updates to county worker(s) and parents/guardians including follow up on major incidents and/or other concerns as needed.
  • Floor coverage
    • Complete one late night per week which counts towards the 40 hours work week.
    • Point person for medical transports during assigned hours.
    • Pack pass medications each week.
    • Pass medications as needed.
    • Cover floor as needed.
    • On-Call rotation
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred (e.g. Social Work, Psychology, etc.)
  • 2-3 years of experience working with children and adolescents experiencing mental, emotional, and/or behavioral disturbances, within a residential or hospital setting, preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience as a Residential Counselor preferred
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Must pass required background check
