Neurobehavioral Center for Growth (NBCG) is a dynamic, multidisciplinary medical, behavioral, and mental health practice located in northern Utah. Our mission is to empower individuals and families through accurate diagnoses and evidence-based, compassionate care. We specialize in comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments, therapeutic services, and collaborative care across disciplines.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a licensed psychologist or neuropsychologist who is passionate about working with patients across the lifespan in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough diagnostic interviews, including biopsychosocial histories, and establish clear goals for assessment.
- Select and implement appropriate test batteries tailored to each client’s needs, including psychological, neuropsychological, social-emotional, and neurodevelopmental assessments.
- Collaborate with psychometrists for test administration and ensure high-quality data collection.
- Analyze and interpret assessment data to develop individualized, evidence-based recommendations.
- Prepare comprehensive, client-centered evaluation reports that are clear, actionable, and aligned with best practices.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to clients and families
- Complete documentation for insurance, pre-authorizations, and records in a timely and professional manner.
- Optional Additional Opportunities for Clinicians with interest in therapy or school psychology - Provide therapeutic services using modalities such as CBT, DBT, or ACT, or support local charter schools with assessments and consultation.
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited clinical or school psychology program.
- Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Utah (postdoctoral candidates will be considered).
- Experience with a broad range of diagnoses including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disorders, intellectual disabilities, neurocognitive conditions, and mood disorders.
- Familiarity with special education systems and related services is preferred.
- Training or experience in ADOS administration is preferred (training available if needed).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex data and communicate findings clearly to families.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and electronic health record systems.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis and parent consultation is a plus.
