POSITION: BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST (BCBA) FOR SCHOOL-BASED ECC

STATUS: PRN

HOURS: up to 29 hours per week

PAY: $56/hr

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree from accredited school
  • Missouri BCBA certification
  • 1 year experience working with early childhood age in a school setting
  • Experience facilitating Functional Behavior Analyses and delivering written reports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prefer some experience supervising behavior aides

REPORTS TO: COUNSELING SUPERVISOR

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst provides Functional Behavior Analyses with accompanying reports; develops treatment plans based on results of FBA; and supervises paraprofessionals in the implementation of the FBA; works with teachers and students to increase desired results.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitates Functional Behavior Analysis with accompanying reports.
  • Presents FBA information to schools and parents.
  • Develops treatment plans utilizing results from the FBA.
  • Oversee the implementation of the FBA by paraprofessionals.
  • Provides consultation to teachers, administrators and other school staff.
  • Models interventions for aides.
  • Provides direct IEP minutes to ECC children.
  • Provides ongoing supervision and oversight to paraprofessionals regarding interventions.
  • Refers the child and/or family for community services as needed.
  • Provides behavior training to staff, and the community through seminars.
  • Any other duties as specified by the supervisor
