Tsubaki ATR, LLC manufactures Atra-Flex Flexible Couplings. We are leaders in Design Technology, offering quick, low cost solutions for rotating equipment, misalignment, end float and vibrational troubles in the Power Transmission Industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.
- Operates a compliment of multiple machines in a safe and productive manner consistent with procedures and guidelines.
- Assists others in operation of various machines during set ups to maintain work flow and efficiency.
- Reads and interprets blueprints.
- Removes, replaces or sharpens any related tools or blades, resets and/or makes adjustments as necessary.
- Able to use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges and similar devices for the purpose of maintaining and documenting quality requirements.
- Able to select proper materials/parts as prescribed by routing package, and load appropriate materials/parts into machines or feeding devices.
- Thorough knowledge of machine operation and machining practices as related to the equipment. Able to perform all essential job duties.
- Able to operate any material handling equipment or be trained.
- Able to perform running maintenance as required.
- Must maintain work area in neat, orderly condition.
- Performs all related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Basic math skills, i.e. ability to subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Use fractions and decimals. Able to work with rate, ratio and percent calculations as well as graphs.
- Problem solving skills – able to reason and think through issues.
- Associates degree or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school preferred, and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Moderately active work that is typical of a manufacturing plant. Examples include pushing, pulling lifting, standing, bending, twisting.
Schedule: During training period, schedule will be Monday - Friday, 4 am - 12:30 pm. Once training period is completed, schedule will be Monday - Thursday, 11 am - 9:30 pm
