About Job

Typical Hourly Range is: $21.51 - $26.88 DOE The actual offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, and other relevant factors. Education Variable Pay: $1.00 - $3.00/hr

We are currently seeking both FULL time and PART time Awake Night Counselors (ANC)
ANC shift: 3 or 4 nights a week 10:45pm-9:00am
Part-Time: 22-27 hours per week- FLEXIBLE schedules available

As a Residential Counselor you will:

  • Ensure the safety of youth through direct supervision.
  • Implement trauma informed interventions with youth and effectively manage crisis.
  • Plan and supervise daily activities of youth and implements our Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) program.
  • Ensure that the physical needs of the residents are met.
  • Pass, document, and monitor the use of medications by youth.
  • Participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and Agency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred but experience in the mental health field both personal and professional, will be considered.
  • Must possess a reliable mode of transportation to travel to assigned client homes, schools, offices, etc. If personal vehicle is the mode of transportation, must meet Agency’s driving requirements.

  • Willingness to complete and pass a background check and pre-employment physical
