Overview
We are actively seeking a committed and compassionate Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in applied behavior analysis and demonstrate a steadfast commitment to enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role necessitates close collaboration with clients to assess their needs, develop customized treatment plans, and implement effective interventions. Furthermore, it is imperative to hold a current Medicaid credential.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to promote positive behavioral changes in clients.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessment and data collection.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Collect and analyze research data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and contribute to continuous improvement practices.
- Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavior management strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Provide mentorship to other staff members who are accumulating both direct and indirect field work hours.
- Skills
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism.
- Proficiency in applied behavior analysis methodologies.
- Strong patient assessment skills to identify needs and develop appropriate interventions.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to behavioral health.
- Ability to collect and analyze research data effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Compassionate approach towards working with children and individuals with disabilities.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently.
