The Brooklyn Center for Psychotherapy is an outpatient mental health center located in Park Slope, Brooklyn. We are known for providing the highest quality care while also treating each and every patient with the dignity and respect they deserve.
We are currently seeking fee-for-service clinicians to conduct intakes for an ethnically and culturally diverse population of children, adolescents, and adults. The position requires the clinician to be a licensed master social worker, mental health counselor, or a psychologist with 2-3 years experience performing initial intake assessments. The intake worker must be highly organized, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as be proficient with the DSM-5 diagnostic codes.
This opportunity could also include individual therapy hours with a small caseload of patients. The rate for individual sessions is $70 an intake. This is an opportunity to see a wide range of patients, complete a thorough intake assessment, diagnosis, and see patients for long-term therapy. Supervision and Case Conference is also provided weekly.
The individual must have experience in maintaining timely and well documented clinical records in accordance with OMH standards. The Center utilizes an EMR for recordkeeping. Weekly supervision is provided.
Evening hours are preferred 5pm-9pm. Both in-person and telehealth hours are available.
