Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to improving the lives of individuals, particularly those with developmental disabilities. This role involves providing support, therapy, and advocacy for clients while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The Social Worker will work collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals to develop effective care plans and facilitate access to necessary resources.

Duties

• Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide therapy and counseling services to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Conduct clinical research and data collection to inform best practices in social work.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining confidentiality of client information.
• Utilize ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding when documenting diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Advocate for clients' rights and access to community resources, including home community care services.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with social work practices and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Strong research skills, particularly in clinical research methodologies.
• Proficiency in data collection and analysis related to client outcomes.
• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques, including Christian counseling approaches is a plus.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding systems is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to professional standards.
