LCSW OR LMFT- ASSISTANT PROGRAM DIRECTOR -Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

APD-Essential Duties:

i. The Assistant Program Director manages staff, resources and administrative processes to ensure that the goals and objective of the ORR Program are accomplished. The Assistant Program Director ensures the program meets all staffing requirements and diversifies and coordinates the onboarding of new clinical personnel when need it. Assistant Program Director Must supervise intern clinician's hours, (4). Licensed Clinician must be 2 years post graduate.

ii. Assistant Program Director must be fully skilled in planning, budgeting and evaluating projects linked to expertise in the subject matter of the ORR program. Assistant Program Director plans, organizes, and assigns the work of staff and any technical experts and/or consultants.

iii. Ensure the program is sufficiently diverse in strengths and capabilities to plan and deliver appropriate services; ensure appropriate advocacy support; assist children and families to gain access to a full array of services; mediate barriers to services while in the system.

iv. Monitor compliance for all operations, PSA, General ORR audits, staffing, training and development, regulatory Governmental training and Safety Training as required by CCL, ORR and other state and local entities. including human resource laws and best practices, contractual fidelity, local and Federal laws and regulations governing operations, and fiscal/auditory compliance.

v. Participate in the planning and implementation of the quality improvement processes.

vi. Review all licensing and incident reports provided by the Program Director and based upon such review; ensure that the agency and its certified family homes thereafter comply with all applicable regulations.

vii. Hold regular staff meetings to discuss plans and policies.

viii. Organize and carry out a program for staff development and arrange for attendance of staff at social work conferences and other meetings which assist in professional growth and effectiveness.

ix. Provide leadership and stimulation in community planning for the children and their families.

x. Supervise any post placement services.

xi. Ensure that employee performance evaluations are completed and all mandatory ORR training is submitted in a timely manner.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

a. Manages subordinate employees, carries supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

b. Supervises intern's hours.

Judgement:

Displays willingness to make decisions; exhibits sound and accurate judgment; supports and explains reasoning for decisions; includes appropriate people in decision-making process.

Education: Possession of an advanced degree from an accredited college or university with a major in applied behavioral science, such as psychology or social work, sociology, child development. Candidates must be licensed, LMFT or LCSW.

Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in child welfare administration and/or child protective services and two years of experience in program management or as the director of a licensed childcare program. Possession of or the ability to secure an administrator’s license as required by the State.

Other: Possession of a valid State driver’s license. Attainment of 21 years of age.

Pre-Employment:
