Help Esteem Counseling Services is a mental health group practice dedicated to providing accessible, culturally responsive care to individuals and families across New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey. We are seeking for a licensed clinical therapist to join our growing practice, with both part-time and full-time opportunities available. Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions remotely.
- Use evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address clients' mental health concerns.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and community agencies, to provide a comprehensive level of care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of clients' treatment progress using our secure EHR platform.
- Conduct mental health assessments, accurately diagnose mental health disorders, and develop/implement treatment plans based on the client's needs and goals.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
- Attend regular supervision and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher education in mental health counseling or a related field (Ph.D., Psy.D., LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LPC, LPCC, LMFT, LCADAC).
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a mental health professional.
- Experience providing mental health services to diverse populations.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in computer software and electronic medical records.
- Ability to work flexible hours based on availability (minimum 15-20 hours per week).
- Access a desktop or laptop computer with reliable internet and a webcam.
- Residing in the U.S. in the state where we are operating.
