AB Staffing is looking for experienced Psychologists in South Carolina that are available for the 2025/2026 school year.

Job Description:
  • Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location. - Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suit your experience and skillset.
  • Contract through the 2025/2026 school year – The contract follows the academic district calendar.
  • Part-time available - 20 hours per week.

Salary:
  • $1,400.00 - $1,500.00/week DOE.

Requirements:
  • Graduate Degree (M.A., Ed.S., M.S. Ed., Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D.) in School Psychology.
  • Must be certified in School Psychology OR hold a School Psychologist license from the SC Psychology Board.
  • Experience conducting psycho-educational evaluations in a school setting is preferred.
  • Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.

Essential Functions:
  • Provide evaluation, consultative, and counseling services in the school setting for initial psychological assessment and for reevaluation of children in special education programs.
  • Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and lead the multidisciplinary team in the process of identifying students of intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, and emotional/behavioral disorders.
  • Communicate psychological assessment results and recommendations both verbally and through written reports.
  • Participate in eligibility and program decisions in meeting the needs of students with disabilities.
  • Participate in and contribute to professional development activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
