This is professional medical work in the field of psychiatry or child psychiatry. A resource is responsible for the care and treatment in a Commonwealth facility for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness, dysfunctional behavior and/or a developmental disability.Duties include but are not limited to: full professional responsibility for the diagnosis, determination of treatment methods, and leadership in the implementation of treatment plans.Possess general knowledge of regulations governing licensure, especially as related to chemical and physical restraints and monitoring as well as dose reductions of Psychotropic medications.Work is performed under general direction of a higher-level psychiatrist for clinical supervision or other administrative supervisor for administrative issues and is reviewed for conformance to current, accepted psychiatric and medical principles and techniques through staff conferences, case report observation during performance, and evaluation of results.About Us:TulaRay partners with clients to create staffing solutions that meet unique organizational needs.
