About Job

Location: Feasterville, PA Campus: Buxmont Academy Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Salary: Starting at $34,500/year (10-month position)

Make a Meaningful Impact Every Day

Buxmont Academy is hiring a full-time Counselor for our Feasterville campus. This is a great opportunity for someone who is compassionate, team-oriented, and committed to helping at-risk youth succeed-both academically and emotionally.

As a Pennsylvania-licensed private academic school, Buxmont Academy serves students in grades 7-12 who need a more supportive and structured educational environment. In partnership with our sister organization, Community Service Foundation (CSF), we use restorative practices to build trust, strengthen relationships, and help students develop the skills they need to thrive.

What You'll Do

  • Support students' social-emotional development through daily interactions and guidance
  • Facilitate restorative circles and lead small group sessions
  • Provide behavioral support and assist with student interventions
  • Maintain student notes and provide reports as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families as part of a student-centered team

What We're Looking For

  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in counseling, education, or human services
  • Experience working with adolescents, especially those with behavioral or emotional needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to maintain professionalism and composure in high-stress situations
  • A collaborative mindset and openness to learning restorative approaches

Why Work with Us?

At Buxmont Academy, you'll be part of a mission-driven organization where your work matters. There are no evening or weekend hours with this school position. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) retirement plan; paid time off; holiday and summer breaks; and access to an Employee Assistance Program. You'll also receive free professional development, including the opportunity to earn a graduate certificate in restorative practices through the International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP) Graduate School.
