MercyOne is seeking a lifespan Neuropsychologist at a thriving practice in Des Moines, Iowa. The role offers competitive compensation including a $25,000 sign on bonus, paid malpractice and a generous retirement program. 

Practice Details

  • Join 3 other Neuropsychologists
  • Built in referral network
  • 14 Neurology Providers
  • 3 Child Neurology Providers
  • Monday-Friday
  • No call
  • Provide neuropsychological services including
    • Assessment
    • Consultation
    • Education

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology
  • Completed one year, APA approved internship
  • Knowledge & understanding of brain behavior relationships
  • Basic knowledge of neurosciences including neurology, functional neuroanatomy, & neurophysiology
  • Postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology
  • Ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of pediatric neurological conditions

MercyOne Ruan Neurology is an integrated multispecialty practice with a statewide referral network. Our 9 Neurologists and 4 Advanced Practice Provider’s manage the full spectrum of neurological diseases across all specialties. We are an MS Center of Excellence from The Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Center. Opportunities exist for outreach and tele-neurology. Rounding out the service are 3 Neuropsychologists who provide a wide range of testing.  Our comprehensive practice collaborates closely with Neurosurgery, PMR and Pain Medicine. MercyOne Ruan Neurology actively participates in clinical research while serving as Faculty for MercyOne residents (Family Medicine/Psychiatry/Internal Medicine) and Des Moines University medical students.
