We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to provide behavioral health services at Westbay Children’s Center. This contracted position offers a unique opportunity to work directly in early education settings, helping children with social, emotional, and behavioral needs succeed in inclusive classrooms.

Key Details

• Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
• Schedule: Approximately 3–4 hours per week
• Rate: $80/hour
• Location: Westbay Children’s Center

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, on-site behavioral health services to children enrolled in the Kids Connect program
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized behavioral plans
• Consult with educators and families to support children’s social-emotional development
• Document services and maintain records in compliance with Kids Connect and EEOH requirements
• Participate in occasional team meetings and collaborative planning sessions

Requirements

• Active LICSW license in Rhode Island (required)
• Must obtain DCYF and BCI clearance
• Master’s degree in Social Work
• Experience working with young children (ages 6 weeks–5 years old), preferably in clinical or educational settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
• Willingness to work on-site in a childcare setting
