Qualifications:

  • Valid Ohio Social Worker License or Ohio Clinical Counselor License
  • Certified counselor with experience in school settings
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs)
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a Crisis Intervention team
  • Experience with elementary and high school students preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Location:

  • Springfield, OH

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Behavior Specialist, assisting students with behavioral challenges
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to create supportive learning environments
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings, advocating for student needs
  • Complete Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs) to assist in the evaluation process
  • Work closely with the Crisis Intervention team to support student wellbeing
  • Manage a varied caseload across K-12th grade
