Job Description:

We are searching for a compassionate and well-rounded candidate to join our team and aid in assisting individuals diagnosed with autism to grow and thrive. Each behavior technician is matched with a preschool aged child and supervised by an experienced BCBA to implement individualized educational programs. Our mission at Bayside ABA is to provide a warm and inviting environment where technicians and clients feel comfortable to grow.

Job Duties:

  • Provide one-on-one care for individuals with Autism in a clinic setting as a certified behavior technician
  • Provide ABA skill support in a variety of areas including adaptive, speech, communication, vocational, behavior, play, and cognitive skills
  • Collect and graph data for individual programs that pertain to each client
  • Implement behavior intervention plans as laid out by your overseeing BCBA
  • Assist in a variety of assessments for treatment planning purposes

Other Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of company policy and as stated by the BACB
  • Demonstrate professional communication when conversing with clients, their parents, and other professional peers
  • Ability to develop positive and professional relationships with students, families and co-workers
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Punctual and respectful of the workday
  • Positively responds to constructive feedback and accepts direction

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Experience working with children (preferred)
  • CPR/First Aid Training (preferred)
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
  • Ability to keep up with preschool aged children
  • Required Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license and willing to obtain a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential within 90 days of hiring date

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
