Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Location: Clinic-Based
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | No Weekends
Reports To: CEO amp; Director of Operations (DOO)

Job Summary:
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a key clinical team member responsible for providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental, behavioral, or learning challenges. The BCBA will conduct assessments, develop and oversee individualized treatment plans, and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to ensure effective and ethical implementation of therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Assessment amp; Treatment Planning
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to determine the function of behaviors.
Develop individualized ABA treatment plans based on assessment findings.
Establish clear, measurable goals focusing on both skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
Supervision amp; Training
Supervise RBTs and support staff, ensuring fidelity and ethical practice in service delivery.
Provide regular feedback, training, and mentorship to clinical staff.
Monitor treatment progress through data analysis and clinical observation.
Direct Therapy amp; Program Modification
Deliver direct services as needed to model interventions or support clients.
Modify programs based on data trends and client progress.
Apply child-led, play-based methods to encourage natural learning and engagement.
Collaboration amp; Communication
Maintain ongoing communication with families and caregivers to promote consistency and generalization of skills.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators.
Attend and contribute to team meetings and client conferences.
Documentation amp; Compliance
Complete accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and session data.
Adhere to all ethical guidelines established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Ensure compliance with clinic policies, payer requirements, and regulatory standards.
Professional Development
Stay current on research and developments in ABA and related fields.
Participate in professional development and continuing education to maintain BCBA certification.
Qualifications:
Education: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
Certification: Active BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical ABA experience preferred.
Skills amp; Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of ABA principles and child-led play-based intervention strategies
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
Effective communicator with clients, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
Compassionate, flexible, and client-centered approach
Physical Requirements:
Ability to engage physically with children during therapy sessions (e.g., kneeling, sitting on the floor, lifting up to 25 lbs)
Active participation in play-based, movement-oriented activities
Work Environment:
Primary work conducted in a clinic-based setting
Occasional travel to schools, homes, or community locations for client generalization support
