About This Opportunity

Working 37.5 hours per week, you'll deliver comprehensive social work services through our state-of-the-art virtual platform, ensuring students receive the support they need to thrive academically and personally.

Primary Responsibilities

Your role will encompass:

  • Conducting virtual psychosocial evaluations and risk assessments
  • Delivering individual and group therapy sessions via secure platforms
  • Implementing crisis intervention protocols and safety planning
  • Collaborating with educational teams to develop comprehensive support plans
  • Providing consultation to teachers on behavioral and social-emotional concerns
  • Facilitating virtual family meetings and parent education sessions
  • Maintaining detailed case documentation and progress monitoring
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP processes
  • Connecting families with community resources and support services

Essential Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required
  • Valid Michigan School Social Worker license
  • Minimum 2 years of school-based social work experience

  • Strong crisis intervention and safety assessment skills
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions
  • Understanding of educational systems and special education processes
