About Job

Primary Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive intake and behavioral assessments using tools such as the VB-MAPP and PEAK. Develop individualized, data-driven treatment plans tailored to each client's developmental, behavioral, and functional needs. Implement and oversee evidence-based behavior intervention strategies rooted in applied behavior analysis. Deliver direct one-on-one therapy sessions when needed to support skill acquisition and behavioral improvement. Design and maintain clinical programs addressing challenging behaviors and teaching new skills (e.g., communication, social, adaptive skills). Monitor treatment effectiveness using systematic data collection and analysis via electronic data systems. Coordinate care with interdisciplinary professionals, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators. Attend and contribute to team meetings, family conferences, and school consultations when appropriate. Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and behavior therapists. Ensure staff are trained and competent in behavior-analytic procedures, safety protocols, and ethical standards. Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant documentation of assessments, session notes, progress reports, and treatment updates. Regularly review client progress and adjust treatment plans based on data trends and clinical observations. Qualifications Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working with children and/or adults with autism spectrum disorder or developmental disabilities Proficiency in conducting assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, PEAK) and developing corresponding treatment plans Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary staff Solid understanding of ABA principles, behavior management strategies, and data collection methodologies Familiarity with clinical documentation systems and behavioral health terminology Ability to maintain professionalism, empathy, and patience in a dynamic clinical setting
