HOURS: FULL-TIME POSITION (7 HRS) – WORK STUDENT DAYS AND 4 INSERVICE DAYS
EFFECTIVE DATE: 2025/2026 SCHOOL YEAR
LOCATION: ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS
COMPENSATION: PER ESPA CONTRACT
QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s degree or higher or hold at least forty-eight (48) college credits or High school diploma or equivalent and pass a local assessment test in math and language arts; complete a forty (40) hours of training program under the supervision of a Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BCBA); successful completion of RBT certification examination. Hold and maintain current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician as issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BCBA); One to three years of experience working with students with disabilities. First Aid and CPR Training, within (60) days from date of hire; must complete a PDE state approved crisis intervention restraint training after being hired and maintain recertification. Yearly paraprofessional training required – with a minimum of twenty (20) hours of training yearly.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to hear (maximum of 40 decibels loss); see with near acuity of 20 inches or less and far acuity of 20 feet or more; ability to sit for extended periods; subject to inside environmental conditions.
