This position seeks a dedicated Educational Diagnostician or School Psychologist to provide specialized support within a K-12 school setting in Burlington, NC. This part-time role offers approximately 25 hours per week, focusing on evaluating and supporting student needs through assessment and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations for students to determine educational and psychological needs
• Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering professional insight and recommendations
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop effective intervention strategies and support plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations and related services
• Deliver services primarily in person to engage directly with students and school personnel

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician or School Psychologist
• Experience working within K-12 education settings
• Strong understanding of federal and state special education laws, regulations, and procedures
• Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and report-writing skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse student populations and school teams
