Connected Health Care is excited to offer an opportunity for a School Psychologist to join a supportive educational team near Greenville, NC. Our client is dedicated to fostering positive learning environments for students, and this role will provide critical mental health support and assessment services for children and adolescents. Job Description
Conduct individual and group psychological assessments of students
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies for addressing behavioral and academic challenges
Develop individualized intervention plans based on student needs
Support students with social, emotional, and behavioral issues
Provide crisis intervention when necessary
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in school psychology
Education and Certification Requirements
Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
Current state licensure in North Carolina as a School Psychologist
NCSP (Nationally Certified School Psychologist) certification preferred
Previous experience in school-based settings is a plus
Skills and Qualifications
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge of evidence-based practices in psychological assessment and intervention
Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team
Compassionate and supportive approach to student care
