Both in-person office space and telehealth options are provided.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver therapy sessions in-person at our Chesapeake office and/or via secure telehealth platforms
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state and ethical guidelines
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and actively engage in ongoing professional development
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of trauma specialists to ensure holistic client care
  • Attend team meetings, case consultations, and trainings as required
  • Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality at all times

Experience and Qualifications

  • Active Resident in Counseling license (LPC-R) on record with the Virginia Department of Health Professions (required)
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health, or related field (required)
  • Interest or experience in trauma-focused, neurodiversity-affirming care
  • Training or strong interest in body-based modalities (neurofeedback, EMDR, Brainspotting, IFS, somatic therapies, or compassionate inquiry) is highly preferred
  • Ability to work independently while seeking supervision and support as needed
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth in trauma treatment and neurodiversity

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation and flexible scheduling
  • In-person office space provided
  • Access to telehealth with EHR support
  • Regular clinical supervision and mentorship
  • Opportunities for professional training and development in trauma and neurodiversity specialties
  • Supportive, collaborative team culture
