We’re looking for licensed School Social Workers in Illinois who are ready to make a difference in the lives of students and their families.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver both direct and indirect social work services to students
  • Collaborate with our clinical team to craft student-centered IEPs with social-emotional goals
  • Offer insight into how family, cultural, and community dynamics impact behavior
  • Support mental health needs through assessments and positive behavioral strategies
  • Guide families through school transitions and connect them with resources
  • Partner with staff on behavior management techniques and training

What You’ll Need

  • Active LCSW license
  • State certification to work in K-12 schools (varies by state)
  • At least 1 year of full-time, on-site school-based social work (internships not included)
  • Remote experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with the National School Social Work Practice Model
  • Skilled in MTSS, counseling, and behavioral evaluation
  • Clear communicator, especially with diverse student backgrounds
  • Comfortable using technology and virtual platforms for service delivery
  • Reliable home setup: private workspace, stable internet, computer with webcam
  • Available during school hours, ideally 15+ hours/week
  • Bilingual? That’s a plus!
