Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION: Possession of a valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Social Work or School Counseling, and a California State Mental Health License authorizing the delivery of therapeutic services (i.e., Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker). Bilingual in Spanish is desirable. ASSIGNMENT: Temporary Position for the 2025-2026 School Year

  • Credential Copy (PPS School Social Work OR School Counseling Credential)

El Rancho Unified School District may allow a maximum of 12 years out-of-district experience towards placement on the salary schedule. We are committed to providing an enriched curriculum with high expectations for all students which emphasizes the skills, concepts and processes necessary for the technological and cultural challenges of the 21st century. The District provides a variety of educational programs suitable to the needs of a Multi-ethnic and varied Socio-economic community including a large Hispanic enrollment of ninety percent. The District is located in the City of Pico Rivera, which is conveniently located off the 605 and 5 freeways. We are a short drive from both beaches and mountain areas and are located next to the Whittier Narrows Recreation Area.
