A dynamic K-12 school in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide expertly guided behavioral support for students throughout the academic year. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with educators and support staff in implementing effective behavior intervention plans that enhance student learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support teams to ensure consistent application of behavior strategies.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data-driven outcomes.
- Provide training and ongoing support to staff to promote positive behavioral practices.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute behavior-related expertise.
Qualifications:
- Valid BCBA certification.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and principles.
