Under the direction of the Plan of Treatment established with a physician and with input from patient/caregiver, you will assist in ensuring a better way of living and healthy recovery. What You Would be Responsible for:
  • Clinical Social Worker licensure required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Understanding the roles of the healthcare team
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding the psychosocial aspects of illness and health
  • Experience of community facilities and resources for discharge planning
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong crisis intervention skills
  • Excellent short-term counseling skills
Haven Qualification Standards:
  • Assisting physicians in providing a psychosocial assessment of the patient
  • LCSW REQUIRED
  • Provide input into the development of a plan of treatment
  • Advocate for clients or patients to resolve crises
  • Refer clients to community or social service programs
  • Other responsibilities will be assigned
