Position Overview

We are seeking a Part-Time BCBA who is passionate about providing quality ABA services and enjoys collaborating with families and clinical teams. This position offers hybrid flexibility — providing a mix of in-home and/or center-based visits in Upland and surrounding areas, plus remote time for supervision and documentation.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Experience in ABA assessment, treatment planning, and clinical supervision (minimum 1 year preferred)
• Knowledge of evidence-based ABA practices and ethical guidelines
• Experience supervising and training RBTs/BTs
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with children aged 2–12 (Adolescents optional)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for home visits (as applicable)
• Extensive experience in performing comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments and designing individualized, evidence-based Behavior Intervention Plans to address a wide range of behavioral challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and provide clinical oversight to RBTs and behavior therapy staff, ensuring fidelity to treatment protocols and consistent implementation of intervention strategies.
• Skilled in delivering structured training and ongoing support to parents and caregivers, empowering them to effectively apply ABA methodologies in home and community settings
• Proficient in utilizing behavioral data to monitor client performance, interpret trends, and make timely modifications to treatment plans to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Well-versed in navigating the insurance authorization process for ABA services, including preparation of clinical documentation that aligns with payer-specific standards and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical & Supervisory

• Conduct assessments (e.g., FBA, VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R)
• Develop individualized treatment plans and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Supervise and support RBTs/Behavior Technicians in session and remotely
• Model behavior intervention strategies during sessions
• Ensure treatment integrity and clinical quality

Family & Team Collaboration

• Conduct family training sessions to support behavior change at home
• Provide regular updates on client progress
• Collaborate with caregivers, school staff, and other service providers when needed

Documentation & Compliance

• Complete session notes, reports, and insurance documentation on time
• Track client progress and adjust treatment plans based on data
• Ensure compliance with Medi-Cal, insurance, and company requirements
