Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special education needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Familiarity with data collection and analysis methods

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students behavioral needs and develop appropriate interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote positive behavioral outcomes
  • Provide training and support to school personnel on behavioral techniques and strategies
  • Monitor student progress through data collection and analysis, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions regarding student care
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records as required by school policies
