Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special education needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Familiarity with data collection and analysis methods
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students behavioral needs and develop appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote positive behavioral outcomes
- Provide training and support to school personnel on behavioral techniques and strategies
- Monitor student progress through data collection and analysis, adjusting interventions as needed
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions regarding student care
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records as required by school policies
