What You'll Do

  • Conduct psychological, cognitive, and behavioral assessments to inform individualized treatment planning, including the development of Behavioral Support Plans, in alignment with Recipient Rights, Michigan AFC Licensing rules, APA ethical standards, and applicable practice guidelines.
  • Deliver individual and group education, training, and psychotherapy as clinically indicated.
  • Provide clinical leadership in developing a unified, goal-oriented treatment approach within an interdisciplinary team, based on client needs and characteristics.
  • Offer consultation services to individuals served, funding and referral sources, HNNR staff, and other stakeholders involved in client care.


Specific Responsibilities-Non-Essential

  • Participate in program development, evaluation, and research activities to advance awareness of the consequences and treatment of BI.
  • Engage in education and training initiatives for employees.
  • Advance awareness of the HNNR BI program in our community through presentations at workshops and conferences and involvement with professional associations (e.g. WMBIN, BIA, APA, GRAMEP).
  • Provide psychological services to contractual agencies as an employee of Hope Network Neuro Rehabilitation Services.


Work Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Qualifications

  • Education: Master's degree from an accredited university in a clinical psychology health profession (e.g., Health Psychology, Rehabilitation Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology, or Counseling Psychology).
  • Licensure: Active Limited License for Psychology in Michigan.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in health service psychology. Preference for candidates with at least 2 years of experience working with neurological populations in an interdisciplinary treatment setting.
  • Demonstrated writing skills for professional documents, including clinical documentation and clinical work products in an EMR framework.
  • Proficiency in training, public speaking, professional education, and delivering effective presentations.
  • Expertise in psychological and cognitive screening assessments, behavioral evaluations, clinical treatment, and consultation within a healthcare setting.
