A full-time Counselor opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in Greeneville, TN, beginning July 1, 2025, for the 2025-26 school year. This contract position is ideal for professionals dedicated to supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally within a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students in overcoming challenges that affect their academic performance and personal development.
- Guide students in developing educational, occupational, and life plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and community resources to support student success.
- Provide counseling services tailored to individual student needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in School Counseling with a current valid educator license and appropriate endorsement.
- Additional certifications in Mental Health or Behavioral Counseling preferred.
- Alternatively, Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling or Social Work, with a master's in School Guidance Counseling preferred.
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Mental Health Service Provider (MHSP) credentials are highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and families.
Position Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
- Contract duration: One school year (2025-26).
