9am - 5pm / Full Time working Tuesday - Saturday / Salary up to $62,000

Responsibilities of a Memory Care Manager/Scheduler

  • Prepares and publishes schedule for The Seasons' Wellness Department, ensuring adequate coverage to meet the needs of the residents. Assist the Director of Wellness with timecard and time off approvals as needed.
  • Daily supervision of memory care staff to ensure that the policies/procedures of the Community are being followed. Guiding memory care staff in appropriate methods of caring for residents at different stages of their disease progression. Create daily assignments for memory care CMT/CNA staff and make adjustments a needed. Assists CMT/CNA staff as needed for daily ADL's.
  • Provide our residents with daily care in accordance with our established policies and procedures and assure that the highest degree of quality care will be always maintained.
  • Routinely assesses the services and care provided to ensure compliance is maintained under DOH regulations for assisted living residence and the Residence's policies/protocol; makes recommendations to the Executive Director regarding services for memory care residents and implements changes as needed that promote optimal well-being.
  • Collaborates with memory care team on updates on residents' status, daily care, dining, housekeeping, and programming services. Provides hand-on support as needed. Shares updates with Leadership team to align all departmental services to ensure that memory care residents are receiving the highest level of care and programming to maintain their optimal functioning and well-being.
  • Prepares memory care dining room seating chart, making changes as needed. Keeps resident dietary forms up to date.
  • Inspects memory care environment daily to ensure that it is safe, neat, home-like and welcoming to the Residents and their family members. Trains staff on all shifts to do this daily as well.

Qualifications for a Memory Care Manager/Scheduler

  • A.S. or B.S. in relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Current Rhode Island Certified Medication Technician License.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience contributing to the delivery of care to AL residents with Alzheimer's or related dementia.
  • Must have Scheduling experience.
  • Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting. Ability to coach staff, manage, set and achieve goals that promote resident wellness and purpose.
  • Certificate(s) in Dementia / Alzheimer's care strongly preferred.
