- Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment to clients via our telehealth platform.
- Prescribe and manage medications as appropriate to alleviate mental health symptoms, while monitoring for side effects and efficacy.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to address a variety of mental health conditions.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Participate in regular supervision and continuing education to enhance professional development.
- Collaborate with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for clients.
- Foster a supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients through effective communication and empathy.
- Educate clients about mental health issues, coping strategies, and self-care practices.
- Encourage active participation in treatment goals and empower clients to take ownership of their mental health journey.
- Active and unrestricted license and certification to practice as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or 2+ years of psychiatry experience under the supervision of a psychiatrist.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a psychiatric setting.
- Active DEA registration, NPI number, CAQH registration. Medicare number preferred.
- Maintain all appropriate licensure to prescribe and dispense medications under applicable state and federal laws.
- Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work remotely and manage a flexible schedule.
- Technology savvy and excited about how technology can improve medical care with minimum technological requirements including reliable, high-speed internet, a computer with webcam and microphone, familiarity with teleconferencing tools (e.g., Zoom).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, grammar, attention to detail, and efficient at writing medical information at a patient level.
